About me

the painter

I have been attracted to painting watercolors since I was a teenager. But it took me a while to figure out what I actually wanted to paint: it is the light that is reflected by all the things in our world depending on the seasons, the time of day and the weather. And it is the shadows that are created in the process. Light, shadows and colors shape everything we can see. When I paint, I reproduce subjectively what I see. In the process, I leave out a lot – either because I haven’t seen it or because it is unimportant.
